MEGARA
FLAVOR TEXT CANON NAME

Megara was once full of life and love. She lost both her parents at a young age and was left to raise her younger sister, Agape, on her own. Megara fell in love with a man named Galen. During their courtship, Agape became deathly ill and despite Megara's best efforts, it seemed her sister would die. Desperate Megara turned to the Gods for help, eventually coming to Hades when her other prayers went unanswered. Megara sold her soul to save Agape's life and Hades true to his word healed her. Not long after Megara found out that Agape and Galen had a secret relationship and they both left her - dying not long after. Megara had sold her soul for nothing and Hades had come to cash in. She is currently one of his most trusted minions, often carrying out his dirty work, sometimes even collecting the souls of those who like her were foolish enough to sell them. Megara has become jaded and the longer she spends in the Underworld the more her heart turns to ice. She no longer fights for her freedom seeing no point and also thinking she no longer deserves it after some of the horrible things she's had to do for him.
